If the plug and play T8 LED bulb does not turn on out of the box, you must first check the type of ballast that is in the fixture. The ballast compatible T8 bulbs only work with instant start electronic T8 ballasts. They will not work with magnetic or T12 type ballasts. If the ballast type is correct, then the ballast may be bad and need replacement.
