LED offer the same, if not better lighting than fluorescents. LED are more consistent and do not come with the same issues as fluorescent bulbs due to the lack of a ballast. Fluorescent bulbs may have flickering issues and not all bulbs are as consistent due to the way they are manufactured. Therefore, LED are far and beyond an improvement over fluorescent bulbs.
