To test if a solar light is working, simply cover the solar panel to simulate darkness, the light should turn on automatically if it’s functioning properly. You can also check the light at night after a full day of charging to confirm operation. If it doesn’t illuminate, the issue may be due to a depleted battery, dirty or obstructed solar panel, or faulty wiring, all of which can affect charging and performance.
