You can use an LED bulb in an enclosed fixture, but only if it’s rated for enclosed spaces. Standard LED's can overheat when used in sealed fixtures because the trapped heat shortens their lifespan or causes premature failure. To prevent this, always choose LED bulbs labeled as “enclosed fixture rated”, which are designed to handle higher temperatures and maintain performance in ceiling lights, outdoor enclosures, or decorative sealed fixtures.
