The risk of fire from LED lights is very low because they generate much less heat than traditional incandescent or halogen bulbs. Properly rated and certified LED fixtures stay cool to the touch and significantly reduce overheating hazards. However, the risk increases if you use substandard LED products, make wiring errors, place them in poorly ventilated fixtures, or fail to follow installation instructions. For safety and dependability, always use UL- or ETL-listed LEDs, ensure correct installation, and follow manufacturer guidelines.
