Recessed Emergency Lights
I am interested in the EMRL-1 emergency lighting product. Can I use multiple batteries in parallel to extend the operating time of the unit? Can a bypass switch be added to allow the unit to operate the EMRL-1 as a regular light fixture?

(EMRL-1)We do not recommend adding extra batteries to the EMRL-1 fixture as this will void the warranty. It has been done in the past, but please note that we do not recommend this. Also, we do not have the information to confirm if the emergency setting can be bypassed to run the fixture at 100%. The factory says this option is not available.
