I am building a new house and the garage area is about 36' x 30' with 12' ceilings. Do you recommend the 40 or 70 watt units fixtures and how many?

(7802CLWH036-51K)It depends on how bright you want the area. For standard lighting probably 6 or 9 of the 40w led canopy lights. If you want it crazy bright like for a working garage than we would recommend the 70W LED canopy. You are welcome to try one to get a feel of how bright they are.
