(SQUARE-TRIM-RECESSED-DOWNLIGHT)The 5 and 6 inch refers to the inside diameter of the recessed housing that this light fixture can fit. The spring arms can be adjusted to fit either type. The dimensions shown in the spec sheet are referencing the overall size of the trim.
