(DR6CCT1)Edge lit refers to how the LEDs are arranged inside the fixture. Some fixtures have one large or a few small LEDs in the center pointing downwards. This has a number of small LEDs wrapped around the edge facing inwards. This usually provides a cleaner look with less glare.
