I need a bulb like this but need it to be the same diameter as a standard fluorescent bulb. Can you tell me if it is wider than a standard 4W fluorescent bulb? Thank you.

(S11900)The diameter of fluorescent bulbs can vary. This is designated by T5, or T8 and so on. You can check the markings on the bulb for this designation, or check that it is 5/8 inches, which would reflect a T5. There is also length, which is not determined by wattage when it comes to T5 bulbs. In some cases, there may be multiple lengths with the same wattage.
