A high bay retrofit bulb, commonly called a corn lamp or COB retrofit bulb is an LED replacement designed to upgrade older HID systems such as metal halide, high-pressure sodium, or mercury vapor bulbs. Instead of replacing the entire fixture, you simply remove the old bulb, bypass the ballast if required, and install the LED retrofit. This instantly converts the fixture into an energy-efficient LED system, with brighter light output, lower utility costs, and a much longer lifespan.
