You are not allowed to put track lighting in wet or damp locations, such as directly above showers or bathtubs, unless the fixtures are specifically rated for those areas. Additionally, track lighting should not be installed in places where it could be easily damaged or create a fire hazard, such as inside closets with limited clearance.
